At Posy, we cultivate children’s curiosity and growth by creating a supportive environment where they can explore with their teacher and peers. My focus is on helping children develop foundational skills, social and emotional awareness, and a sense of belonging in their care community. Active engagement is central to Posy’s approach. I believe children learn best through natural play and interactions with their surroundings, experiences, and the people around them. My mission is to inspire the children in my care to explore their world by fostering their innate curiosity and personalizing their developmental journey. Posy’s approach emphasizes compassion and utilizing each child’s natural abilities to foster positive growth. Each area at Posy is designed to support different aspects of child development, including sensory exploration, motor skills, early communication, and imaginative play.

As a teenager, I started my career as a teacher’s aide and fell in love with early childhood education instantly. The journey from that moment to making my own visions for early education come to life has been the most incredible experience. Growing as a teacher and then transitioning into personalized care as a Santa Barbara nanny showed me the balance I wanted to achieve in my school. I am committed to maintaining a safe and loving environment for the young children in my care and also providing them with the skills they need for age-appropriate milestones through consistency and positive guidance. I have developed close, lasting relationships with many families built on communication and trust.
My goal is to create a community of families who support each other in life. This is the vision of Posy, a combination of passion and creativity, inspiring me to take a leadership role in the childcare field.
