At Posy, we cultivate children’s interest in learning by creating an environment that encourages them to explore learning materials with teachers and their peers. We focus on supporting early learners as they make decisions, build academic skills, develop socially and emotionally, and become part of a classroom community.
Active learning is at the core of Posy’s curriculum. We believe the foundation for young children is gaining knowledge through their natural play and interactions with the environment, events, and other people.
Our mission is to inspire the children in our care to follow their passions by fostering their ideas and personalizing their academic journey. Posy curriculum emphasizes compassion and using our natural abilities to create a positive impact.
Each area at Posy is dedicated to its own field of study. These specialized areas are dedicated to STEM, creative arts, literacy, and dramatic play.

As a teenager, I started my career as a teacher’s aide and fell in love with early childhood education instantly. The journey from that moment to making my own visions for early education come to life has been the most incredible experience. Growing as a teacher and then transitioning into personalized care as a Santa Barbara nanny showed me the balance I wanted to achieve in this center. I am committed to maintaining a safe and loving environment for the young children in my care and also providing them with the skills they need for age-appropriate milestones through consistency and positive guidance. I have developed close, lasting relationships with many families built on communication and trust.
My goal is to create a community of families who support each other in life. This is the vision of Posy, a combination of passion and creativity, inspiring me to take a leadership role in the childcare field.
